While in Washington, we took a fun trip to the National Zoo!
We got to see the giant panda bears...
It was a hot hot day - even hotter than it was in Texas, by almost 20 degrees! Not fair!
The gorillas were just hanging out...
Until all of a sudden, they had a bit of a squabble!
Addy kept saying, "the monkey got mad, the monkey got mad!"
And here he is pouting...
The orangutans were awesome - they climb between several habitats by swinging from these really high wires!
They were right over our heads, and we were warned not to stand right underneath for fear of a "poop explosion"!
Like so many things in Washington, the Zoo is completely free. What a fun day!
